The IFEP team had the great honor to attend the 2023 Greater Pittsburgh Nonprofit Partnership Summit at the David L. Lawerence convention center on Nov. 9 & 10. We joined many nonprofits from our area to learn, share, and grow.
Two of the exiled artists we work with were able to join us. Mai Khôi performed an excerpt of her show "Bad Activist" in the evening on Nov. 9. The performance was well attended and appreciated among attendees. On Nov. 10 we were accompanied by Haifa Subay, who was able to share her work with attendees as an artist as a part of the Artist Protection Fund.
We were given the opportunity to hold a presentation as a part of a breakout session on Nov. 10. CEO Greg Victor, along with Marketplace Creative Lead Olga Pogoda and Board of Directors Chair Tony Norman talked about our initiatives and the status of the "Marketplace of Ideas" and "Marketplace 1.0."
