The International Free Expression Project seeks a world in which everyone can be who they are, say what they want, and be heard. It is an independent, nonprofit organization that encourages people to express themselves freely and protect the right of everyone else to do so.
Expression is an essential part of being human. It defines us as individuals and allows us to understand each other, our communities and the world. The freedom to express opinions, hear others, gather information, share ideas and challenge those in power is essential to solving problems and improving society. It is fundamental to all other freedoms.
